ROSE WATER RICE PUDDING

Preparation: 50 minutes
Serving: Good for 6

Ingredients :

1 cup pudding rice or short-grain rice
¾ cup fine sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 ½ cups whole milk
3 tbsp whole milk (for mixing)
fresh rose petals
ground cinnamon

Instructions :
  1. Boil pudding rice in a saucepan and cook until rice is tender
  2. Add sugar and milk to the rice then let it boil
  3. Mix the cornstarch with the tablespoon of milk, creating a pasty cornstarch mixture
  4. Stir the rice and add the cornstarch then mix it with the rice, stirring constantly
  5. Add the rose water and bring everything to a boil but do not cover
  6. Remove everything from heat and transfer the rice into different glasses and let it cool or you can refrigerate it
  7. Dust it with cinnamon and garnish with rose petals
