Ingredients :
1 cup pudding rice or short-grain rice
¾ cup fine sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 ½ cups whole milk
3 tbsp whole milk (for mixing)
fresh rose petals
ground cinnamon
Instructions :
- Boil pudding rice in a saucepan and cook until rice is tender
- Add sugar and milk to the rice then let it boil
- Mix the cornstarch with the tablespoon of milk, creating a pasty cornstarch mixture
- Stir the rice and add the cornstarch then mix it with the rice, stirring constantly
- Add the rose water and bring everything to a boil but do not cover
- Remove everything from heat and transfer the rice into different glasses and let it cool or you can refrigerate it
- Dust it with cinnamon and garnish with rose petals
